Frost PVE yes u read it right

Replenishment spec ofc :

From what i saw in normals till now :
- assuming a normal encounter - boss with x hp fight should be ~ 5 mins or less doesn't matter much :

Start :
1. Is images available ?
yes - use + pet nova into deepfreeze (first assault thing) + icy veins & trinkets + coldsnap + deepfreeze again + icy veins (after 1st use has ran out ofc).
no - don't ever use deepfreze the first 15 sec at least - guaranteed agro pull. Otherwise same as above after tonk has stable threat.

Basics : Frostbolt spam + icelance when fingers proc or what mages used to call shatter.
Braine freeze not mandatory but try use with a finger proc = more damage.
Deep freeze must be on cooldown always - its a huge portion of ur damage.

Why frost ?
Replenishment + big ass crits + insane burst + total control of everything =
if a tank struggles u can prevent a wipe on trash packs singlehandedly
or if u dont like some1 in ur group its quite easy to get him killed : hint (freezeing a trash mob(s) =
instant death for melee around the tank).

Not sure about stats yet but it seems everything except hit is behind haste for now.
Glyph - Frostbolt , Deep Freeze for even bigger ass critz , icelance or w/e u feel like ur using more.

Why not fire ?
Pretty sure it'll have agro/mana problems. Will test it though.
Why not arcane ?

Fire has too much crit and is too squishy. Mainly the pvp spec now from what I have read.

Arcane ... well not necessary now with the frost spec, but might be useful for a hard hitting boss or frost immune when the new raid with the naga hits, you just know something water based will be immune to frost.

Im pretty certain blizz wont add any immune encounters any more.
I haven't seen a mob that is immune to any school and am pretty sure this mechanic is gone -
ie fire elementas are not immune to fire.

As for fire pvp its fine. Problem is u need a really high crit stat and with the current gear its too low.
Thats why frost is good atm it suits the low gear/mana pools alot better then the other 2.

And fire is far from squishy actually, the mana shield is now pretty useful, the current state of ice barrier is hilarious it absorbs
not more then 6-7 k total damage with glyph.

Advantage of frost over fire is it has 1 million snares, where fire compensates with stuns and very gear/crit dependent rng procs, while frost rng isn't gear dependent and can be somewhat controlled so it aint so random.
